WILD FIRE IS SPREADING IN THE DESERT

June 28th, 2010

The desert is truly blossoming like a rose!  Amazing revival has broken out in Lake Havasu City, Arizona!  A year ago, in January, the Lord gave the London Bridge Christian Churches of our city a vision.  I told the Lord I could not serve as President unless He gave me a vision. I prayed about it for a month, and the morning of the meeting where I had to give an answer about serving to the other pastors, I told the Lord, “Okay, this is it.  I’m going to the meeting and I’m going to tell them “No” unless You give me a vision.”  Immediately He gave me this:

GOD’S VISION FOR LONDON BRIDGE CHRISTIAN CHURCHES

1. To build relationships between pastors.
2. To build unity in the church.
3. To reach the unsaved and backsliders in our region.
4. To transform our city and our region.

This January I went before the Lord again.  I said, “Lord we’ve seen some progress on the first part of your vision, but I’m not satisfied. If you want me to continue as the president, show me a strategy to progress in your vision.” The Lord answered, “24/7 Prayer.”  A couple of weeks later, I attended Starting the Year Right 2010 in Phoenix, where, out of about 2,000 people, I came face to face with Debra Fritch. Debra Fritch began Lite the Torch 24/7 Prayer.  I invited her to attend and share with our pastors at our next meeting. There were eight churches represented and they all signed up for 24 hours of prayer at their church.  Two small churches split one 24 hour shift.

God amazingly directed the “random” sign-up. We began at St Michael’s United Methodist Church, with praise and worship, sharing of the vision, and the passing of the torch from Safford, AZ, by Debra Fritch, to Lake Havasu City. There was a great turnout and we prayed blessings over that church. The following night, the torch was passed from Lake Havasu City to Lakeview Community Church. From Lakeview, the torch was carried by Pastor Dale Ray, followed by a large group of people; they walked up the street to Living Word Family Church. The crowd kept growing from church to church as people wanted to follow the fire! Many attended every night! Living Word Family Church pastors had left Lakeview to begin their church; yet Lakeview pastors were praying blessings on them joyfully and lovingly! The unity was indescribable and the excitement and expectancy in all of the people was mounting! From Living Word Family Church, the torch was passed to God’s Grace Church. The pastor there had come from Living Word. God poured out His love and His joy there in an awesome way!  There was an abundance of joy that we all broke out into hilarious laughter! Together the pastors released fire into that church.

A few years ago I had a dream about us pastors being together in a large auditorium and liquid love was flowing one to another. It flowed out the door and many people were running in off the streets. We began to feel that hot, fiery, passionate love of the Lord flowing one to another by the second night of Lite the Fire. From God’s Grace the fire went to Abundant Grace. At each church, the pastors who had already hosted the torch, which represented the presence of the Lord, shared testimonies of the effects on their church. From Abundant Grace the torch went to Stonebridge Christian Fellowship.  I became bold and called a few city officials and told them they wouldn’t want to miss what was happening. The mayor said he wanted to come, but he is a CPA and is working until midnight through tax season. He said if he couldn’t come, he would send the vice-mayor. The vice mayor not only attended, but was deeply touched as I shared with him that we were there to come alongside of our city officials! They have secular authority over our city, and we have spiritual authority over our city, and as we link arms, there is nothing we can’t accomplish. He was wiping away the tears. We ended with a fire tunnel and he joyfully went through it! He was one of the last to leave the meeting and told me afterwards three times that if there was ever anything I needed to contact him!

We believe the ruling authority over our city changed that night from the demonic realm to the heavenly realm! When I called the city offices, the response was totally different than ever before! They were saying, “What is this Lite the Fire?” I joyfully told them!

The following night the torch was brought across the lake on the ferryboat along with a boatload of fired up people. It was such an exciting night. The worship was out of this world and during the worship one lady was baptized in the Spirit and spoke in tongues and another pretty conservative lady was slain in the Spirit and fell into her chair. She was paralyzed for several minutes and saw tall angels in our church. She was way on fire when she came out of that!

The following night my husband Jerry and Dusty Rose and I took the torch to Phoenix First Christian Church. The fire continues to go on here in Lake Havasu City. The Lord has instructed us to spread the fire! For about two years the Lord has been talking to me about River Revival, and I have been claiming it from Laughlin to Parker and beyond. Parker is receiving the torch on April 16th for one week and Laughlin is asking for it and I am meeting with a representative from there on Monday.

The pastors met today and decided to have a Spreading the Fire River Revival on June 4th. On the 3rd we will all have 24 hour prayer in our churches. On the 5th each church will plan how they will reach out to the community with the fire. It is like wildfire and we can’t contain it and don’t want to!
Other churches want this fire and we’ll take a torch to Praise Fellowship Foursquare Church in two weeks.

For the thirty one years I’ve lived here I’ve been praying for this kind of unity, declaring it, prophesying it and dreaming it. I’ve never seen unity like this! The people are saying, “This is miraculous! This is supernatural!” It certainly is! God’s fiery hot passionate love brings the fire. It is the fire. After the meetings, I would feel such fire it was difficult to sleep, so during the night, at some point, I would get up and go to whichever church was having 24 hour prayer and spend time in His awesome Presence.

God gave me this scripture two weeks before Lite the Fire:
Zechariah 9:10:  His dominion shall be from sea to sea; and from the river to the ends of the earth.

We agree and believe this fire will truly go to the ends of the earth.
